I just had a Common Raven flying across in front of my house heading northeast
at eye level with my third floor apartment. I guess they are breeding
somewhere around Van Cortlandt Park. I'm on the northern border of the park.

20 Hancock Avenue,
Highlights:
Cupsogue: 1 Wilson's Storm Petrel - the only highlight from an hour of
seawatching.
On the Cupsogue Flats: 4 Roseate, 3 Royal, 1 Black (1st Summer) and 2
GULL-BILLED TERNS. Were present in addition to the expected Sternidaes.
For shorebirds, the highlights were 4 White-rumped
Both birds are still present at the south end of the swale.
Cheers!
