Covering the area from Westhampton Beach to Yaphank, and Smiths Point to
Calverton, the Central Suffolk CBC will be taking place on Friday, Dec. 27,
2019.
We are always looking for enthusiastic participants to join established teams,
so if you’re interested, please contact me at
Salutations Everyone,
Micheal Bochnik, recently send out an e-mail regarding the 2019
Bronx/Westchester Christmas Bird Count.
I am following up with a reminder and invitation to anyone who might be
interested in joining the West Bronx Teams for the count on December 22nd.
Please drop me a note
FYI:
State legislation that sought to promote bird-friendly building facades was
shot down by Gov. Andrew Cuomo who vetoed the “problematic” effort this week.

Still being regularly seen, in our case at around 1430.
To compete with the irony experienced by Bob Adamo: I was born and raised in
the Pacific Northwest, but settled on Long Island in 1969. I had to wait 50
years for the species to send an emissary for me to see.

NYSbirds-L List Info:
You’re right.
Maybe a pared down version and some trimming of the “problem” provisions could
get something passed though.
Thanks,
