A singing male Boat-tailed Grackle, still rare in Westchester County, continues at Marshlands Conservancy in Rye. The Grackle is with a drake Long-tailed Duck on an offshore island off Parson's Island. As this is now count period, this will constitute a new record for the 54 year old Greenwich-Stamford summer bird count.
