Yeah I installed it following SitePoints newsletter article yesterday. Given that I don't rely on IDE functionality much at all, Net Beans is certainly one of the better text editors I have found on the Linux platform. I'm running v6 on Mandriva 2009 and its great for every reliance I have: a)

I don't have much to help for ZenCart and OsCommerce, but I agree with David on using Zen over OSC. The latter project is dead and only the community are propping up any activity there last I looked. In my experience, you have quite a bit of work to do to get an out-of-the-box installation of

My comparison is not exactly apples for apples in that I have Zend Studio ver 5.5 Standard which is a little dated now. Also the features of netbeans probably more match Zend Studio Professional. (Remote Debug, FTP etc). If I was starting out now and did not already have Zend, it would be a
