Just got back from the Gatineau. The snow condition is very good. The
main trails has been groomed. Secondary trails that I was on has NOT
been touched by the NCC. Condition on the secondary trails varies. In
general, there is 10-30cm of loose snow on a lightly crusted base and
may have been tracked by people (though not 18 or 20 as of 2PM). Any
pre-existing people tracks on these trail has been covered over by
blowing snow. Wide skis are a good idea for secondary trails until NCC
gets around to packing them with a snowmobile.

Have fun
Spencer
