I'm still commuting in (out out as the case may be) every day from the
Carling/Kirkwood area to near Alcatel on the March Road in Kanata.
If the roads are clear, my limit is -15 Celsius, below that it can't make it
half way before the water bottle freezes up. I picked up a Planet Bike NiMh
light
I'm still commuting until the snow stays. An extra layer of clothes and my
Nite Hawk 10/20 watt headlights are all I need! I just modify my route to
not use the Ottawa River Pkwy after dark, and I keep an extra eye out for
motorists who might be turning into my path.

I've had to start my commute from the Kanata Park Ride since a construction
crew scooped my parking spot at the Corkstown Pool - its just great going in but I'm
somewhat leery about coming back on Corkstown at sunset.
