I have AA 7.0, but the URL doesn't want to download properly. Is it OCA

So, can I get away with not using the center bolt?
I doubt it. Murphy and his family have already been at work with
you, and they're just waiting the make the header leak if the
center bolt isn't used.
Yes, but
Right, right!!! When my TH400 was being prepared, there was a Ram 4x4 with
broken tranny... it was three times smaller and weaker than the 400, we
laughed a lot about, imagine - the other one was a truck

If you layed a clutch from a 400 and from a 200/350 side
by side, you'd see what I
I would definitely try it w/o the center bolt in that
situation. Some people advise not tightening that bolt
fully anyhow, saying it tends to tip the header
flange, reducing the clamping force on the lower part
of the gasket, resulting in an exhaust leak. If it
doesn't work, you're not that much

Hello all-
I'm investigating the costs of rod, main and cam bearings. A seller on eBay
has all three but the item description says that 78 and later Olds V-8's are
different than 76 and earlier. Don't know why 77 is left out.
Aren't cam, rod and main bearings all the same for all small

Scott,
I don't know what the seller on eBay is offering, but engine bearings and
piston rings are the 2 engine items that one never buys on the cheap.
For bearings, the ***only*** ones to use are Clevite 77.
For piston rings, Sealed Power Plasma Sprayed Moly rings are for street
engines.
I had to do a similar operation on a '76 Cadillac 500. Same deal as here -
exhaust bolt broken off in head.
I made a jig out of a piece of flat steel stock and mocked it up on another
Cadillac head - drilled holes thru the jig to pass exhaust bolts through
and keep jig flat against exhaust
I should probably also clarify what I mean by low 1st gear in the 5-speed.
The 6 speed is kind of weird in that the ratios are ALMOST like a
traditional 4 speed automatic, except for 4th being a little more than 1:1,
and 5th being a little less than 1:1, with 6th being a lot like the typical
4th

Hello
In my 58 shop manual it reads to apply level with a adj. screw to trans
pan then to forward driveshaft.
The bubble should be within 1/16...it is not,the motor is low in the
rear or frt shaft is high in the rear.
I had this problem last year and thought with the new rear motor mounts
Hello
Has anyone had good results with ceramic coated headers?
I was just going to paint mine but heard they will last WAY longer when
coated.
My chromed(Bu*ck TA) headers in the other 72 Olds car are close to 10
yrs old and still not rusted much at all.
I was going to get some manifold

There were 2 '68 H/O's there. Both from SoCal.
One was owned by Ken Millington, detailed perfectly. Had the original tires
on it. Other was nice too, but needed lots of details. Don't remember the
owner.
