fuel/air mixture is more dense, so a cold mixture is richer.

Down side is cold drivability. It will cause a cold stumble most
likely. And make for long warm up periods.
For personally for a daily driver, I would pass.

What I have is an Edelbrock Performer intake. Now through the years I have
seen people
mention it, but I never really got a chance to ask WHAT is the reason
for blocking the crossover. I assume it is a heat issue?
