Hi Kevin, Blocking the cross-over is a performance trick. A cold fuel/air mixture is more dense, so a cold mixture is richer. Down side is cold drivability. It will cause a cold stumble most likely. And make for long warm up periods. For personally for a daily driver, I would pass.
