I don't think my 2003 Merc. has one. How can I find
out? Karen
Your Merc does have a black box sensor to record all car sensor readings per
30 seconds. In a crash, the investigators can use that 30 seconds of data
before the crash to determine vehicle speed, any braking actions, and if

As of 2006 and some 2005, your car has a black box. Anyone found a
bypass on the 'net yet?

Chris,
Mark my words, the day will come that your car will have the RFID chip,
You already have one in late 2000s cars with a GPS transponder in the black
box sensor recorder. In GMs with OnStar, the GPS is with the OnStar system.
It is true the OnStar GPS tracker is only activated by the O

Chris,
A bill in the mail? No way - they'll just deduct it from your bank
account automatically at the time of infraction...
Wes
The best soluton is to CUT THE CASH FLOW. These folks are ADDICTED to
the CASH.
No money from traffic enforcement should EVER go back to the enforcing
authority. It should COST them to enforce those laws. Because, when they
MAKE money at it... then they start to look for ways to JUST make money
If it is not the owner of said vehicle driving, then they fill out a
nomination form which must be signed in admittance by the guilty party in
order to have the ticket goes to the driver at the time of incident.
Otherwise the owner is on the hook. Currently it is just a fine, no penalty
points
