On some motherboards with special USB chipsets you must use an Sata DVD
for setup.

I habe hp g6 dl380 server. I was using smartos (illumos) on it, without
problem.
But when i try to install Ominos with usb (using dd-image) Some services
not running and im getting installation fails.

Do you used a real DVD or an ISO?
For the future you could use the iso mount feature of HP ILOs so you save time
to burn the iso and save blank cd/dvd.
I see no reason to use a remote console just to insert a physical disk when
needed ;-)
