Thanks Dan,
Found it and will give it a shot.
fedora14 unsupported one month fedora16 released. sigh...
As we've discussed before (with rhel), for a target to be maintained there
needs to be a commitment from somebody in the community.
My chops aren't good enough.
So going forward what does it
cool,
Glad your so plugged in! :-)
So I'm hearing that the best distro's are Debian or Ubuntu (debian).
Dell boxes don't like Debian expansion cards!! sigh... guess we'll rty with
the RAIS card we have and see how it goes.
Gotta stop using Dell !
Thanks Dan.

work.
However we can find it using a Keyword search.
What has to happen for this to be included in an author index?
Restart some services?
Reload/create an index?
We are planning on a marc blob edit and re-ingest of 1000's of records
to facilitate added author fields.

It won't fix your existing data to do so, but if you update
MARC::File::XML to version 0.92 or better then new records imported
from non-UTF8 sources going forward will get the correct encoding

I'm making inquiries.

Simple question,
Can I hide the Place Hold link for items that are not checked out in search

Or just remove it completely?

Is there any reason why records are created without a source?
If I add a transcendent Source to ALL records - (Item Record or not) does
this hurt anything...
That will make all query-matching records show up everywhere
a default source value?
Should we just write an sql query to update records?
Thanks
