OK, many thanks to Dargos Tatulea for chatting with me so that I could
fix his problem.
There are two problems, which can be fixed by doing the following as root:
mkdir /afs
wget

Dragos,
Was your problem resolved or are you still having problems with OpenAFS on
the Nokia tablet?
No changes here.

OK, so it's still broken?
Are you using an N800 or N810? If you're using an N800, have you flashed
the OS to OS2008?
what does uname -a

I do have /etc/timezone set (to Europe/Bucharest) but that doesn't change
the aklog behaviour...
So your output should look like:
$ date
Wed May 7 12:37:57 EEST 2008
$ date -u
Wed May 7 09:38:16 UTC 2008
(3h difference)
If it does and the clock is set correct, your error is elsewhere.

The error code is a pioctl failed. Is the openafs kernel module (or
equivalent for this environment) loaded? It sounds to me like
everything went well, but trying to put the tokens in the kernel is
failing?

Hi,
After installing krb5 and openafs, I copied my working krb5.conf to the

According the the maemo list, ntpd will suck battery life.
Probably you'll be fine if you just set the time with ntpdate every
time you reconnect to the net.
