Hi Kevin, hi Matt, I am happily reporting that now (i.e. CVS 05/02/11) the afs client daemon is running with my 2.6.10 linux kernel and survives (at least) initial tests. Hopefully the server will runs, as well, but I need some days to test, since I need to upgrade the server to a new linux

Hi, just for the record, the current (2005/02/10) cvs version of OpenAFS does build and load on my linux (kernel 2.6.10). BUT, the very first action, be it an 'ls /afs/...' or just an afs shutdown, produces a segment fault and freezes the whole system. So, it's a pity, but I have to say good-bye
