I am trying to import data from a proprietary file format. I have
the complete documentation of the format and I have also looked at
the data file with a hex editor and the header is layed out exactly
as documented. I can successfully import the image files if I

fix it to work this way, or you could write yourself a simple little
program to return a properly formatted .general file and import it
with the !script option of Import.
