Hi:
In the old days of opensim (versions 0.6) when I needed to call an
inventory service (getFolder, Create...) I always had to send a SessionID
parameter, which was created on login (or auth...) and is unique for an user
while he/she is connected.
The functions on the new interface
Hi:
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that JSON.NET most famous
serializer/deserializer (http://json.codeplex.com/) works like
standard .NET XML serializer...
The advantage of using JSON is less storing space and some thing like
direct connection with Javascript. If the first is not a problem
as far as I can tell is
the generic name given to the libomv LLSD handler.

implement the methods the simulator needs. Anyway, I repeat, unga
Ups! forget that, it has been answered weeks ago...

Wow! Things changed a lot! (and they improved using REST). I really like
the refactoring, things are clear as water.
Just a question, about logins: the old login_to_simulator xml-rpc call
we prevent reinventing the wheel. I'm
most of the time in #hwios/#hwios-dev @ freenode if you have any

Please excuse my violent reaction. I misunderstood your comments.
As soon as I have some free time (I suppose, for the weekend) I will test
unga with the newer (development) opensim versions. According to the wiki
there shouldn't be any problem, but maybe I forgot some needed interface.
Take
of the services, they remain the same, but since they have
been heavily refactored there might be some major differences between 0.6.6
and current pre 0.7 version so probably you have to work on it.

Hi:
For those of you who could be interested I have uploaded to sourceforge the
code and documentation for unga, my UGAIM server projects programmed in PHP
and based on Code Igniter framework.
I haven't finished yet all the testing, but is 100% operative for Apache
(windows *IX) and php 5.2.X
Ops!
Seems that John and me have similar projects, both ugaim severs, both
over code igniter (but I haven't graphics and colors):

I'm testing my unga right now (problems under linux 64) for
uploading it to sourceforge; 4 of the 5 ugaim
I don't like the new viewer. For me is extremely uncomfortable and the
advantages of viewing youtube videos in-world don't compensate the
disadvantages of, for example, having only on screen functions for
dummies.
I agree with Alberto that is a waste of time to adapt opensim for the
new gadget

this is just fyi... and a very positive comment about how far opensim has
come in
such as Joomla, Drupal. Would this mean installing Mono on all systems, not
just the OpenSim systems? Still a helpful alternative to consider.

I understand the existence of a core team, I understand too the existence of

But some kind of decissions (i.e. what should or should not be included in
