Well, I put it in its own window to test it out.
It is loading the gadgets library, but not the opensocial library.
When I put a watch in firebug for opensocial it is not defined.
Any other ideas?

IE has some issues.
When there is an exception raised, IE stops execution.
If you really have to use IE use Try{} Catch{} blocks
