This is really quite limited. So I'd expect individual Containers to

undesirable during development, so to bypass caching on a given Orkut

Access to the signup is metered - we'll be adding accounts in batches

Hello everyone,
I am quite new to Social API. I could see in the documents that we can get
the list of friends and their basic details. Is there a way to get extended
information about the friends? e.g. About Me, Likes, dislikes, birthdays
etc?
I am sorry if this is a duplicate question.
Thanks
I'm getting this error on first run of the app in the browser (thus
not a caching problem). I get the error in IE and in Firefox. I run
the code in the Orkut sandbox, and i've tried using it from a url
generated from the google gears editor and also a url from my own
server.
Code is exactly as in
It's the way as I tried it. Even the 'Sample Requests' application
from the application directory is not working in my case (some error
as reported by Travis).

For security purposes, the Orkut sandbox opensocial calls will only
return information about users who are whitelisted for the sandbox.
This is likely why many of you have been seeing empty information
returned from the fetch VIEWER_FRIENDS calls.
Please provide a link to your orkut profile in th
Just to clarify... do we create a test account in the LIVE Orkut
environment (live Google Account), then use the form to request this
account to gain entry into the sandbox? Before I create test
accounts, I want to be sure this won't look bad or malicious.

for building Orkut applications. Please point me to a starting point.
Thanks,

I see how to make a simple OpenSocial app. Now, to start doing things
that are more interesting, how do I interface with my existing website
and database? I already an existing website, and want to use
OpenSocial as an additional mechanism by which users can interact with
the content and functio
Paul - how can a developer start developing for hi5 when it opens, so
as to produce a quality widget to submit to hi5? With orkut, you sign
up but then they say "wait and we'll contact you" when a spot is
available. Will hi5 do this as well? If so, who gets to go first?
