I've got a SunBlade 100 with a blank hard drive and an OpenSolaris install DVD (Sparc, not x86). What do I do now? Simply putting the DVD in the DVD drive and turning the computer on causes the computer to try to netboot. If there's documentation for this, it's well-hidden.

I managed to get an ok prompt by having the computer try to netboot an oversized image (in my case, the DVD iso that I'd downloaded). From there, installing was simply a matter of typing boot cdrom and following the prompts. This message posted from opensolaris.org
