FYI,
and because i don't have a github account, though this could be
related to ticket #1635, on a x86_64 GNU LibC based Linux via
openssl:
cd openssl.git &&\
if [ -f NULL ]; then git checkout `cat NULL`; fi &&\
./config --prefix=$(MYPREFIX) zlib-dynamic no-hw
are no longer
receiving security updates.
