Did you register the openthinclient-virtual-appliance in the DNS (note:
also reverse)?

If yes, did you change the server-name?
The default is "openthinclient-server".
If you change the default-server-name in your DNS, you have to change it in
/etc/hostname
/etc/hosts
too.
