I figure you have disks set out so Drive 1 + Drive 2 = OS Drive 2 + Drive 3 = Two tablespaces Drive 4 + 5 + 6 = Oracle Default Tablespaces. And you have bought 4 more disks. I theorize, like test this to infinity and beyond, that changing this to the following will improve IO performance.
