Re: [Origami] Did this model already exist?

2021-09-30 Thread Gerardo @neorigami.com
About an hour ago, I asked through the list if a model I had folded already
existed. I embedded and attached the pictures, but it looks like many can't
see them. That's why I'm emailing you the following links, so you can check
them out:

So, are there any other boxes or shadow boxes with a similar folding
structure?

Thank you for your time. Don't forget that you can reply privately to my
email address if you prefer .

[Origami] Did this model already exist?

2020-07-28 Thread Gerardo @neorigami.com
HI EVERYONE

I dreamt I was folding this (first time for me)... and I was able to fold
it for real. The bottom picture is of its back. Can you please tell me if
you have seen a similar model before? It's OK if it's just a bit similar.
I'd love to know!

It's folded from an isosceles straight triangle. I made it in 2015. Did
this model exist before that?

Thank you in advance.

PS: Thank you David for the information about the hyperbolic paraboloids.
Also, can I expect the picture I asked you the favor of sharing with me?
Please let me know.

[Origami] Did this model already exist?

2018-07-05 Thread Gerardo @neorigami.com
I just created this. It's a 100% geometrical model, so someone had probably
already created it. Can someone please tell me if that's the case? It's a 4
x 4 matrix of the same molecule. The matrix can be continued for as long
as the paper and the folding skill allows.

[Origami] Did this model already exist?

2017-04-10 Thread Gerardo @neorigami.com
I created this model, it's so simple it probably had already been created.

Here's a picture of the unfolded paper:

And here's a picture of the fold:

Do you know if someone else had created it before. If yes, who created it?
What is its name? And where is it published or posted?

Thank you in advance.
