Hello,
I tried to use the
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/repos/unstable/rhel-6-x86_64
repository but I encounter an issue when executing yum:
# yum install oscar-base
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security

Hi Costel,
Can you try it again? Maybe there is a mistake in a sync. I manually generated
the meta repo data in the OSCAR server.

Hi DongInn,
I am not sure if you are talking about rhel-5-x86_64 OR rhel-6-x86_64.
However, I did several tries as described below.
I tried the
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/repos/6.1.0/rhel-5-x86_64 repo
and I got the messages:
yum search oscar-base
Loaded plugins:
Have you run oscar-config --setup-distro redhat-el-5-x86_64 or oscar-config
--setup-distro redhat-el-6-x86_64 to prepare the OSCAR yum url?
Can you show me the contents of /tftpboot/oscar/rhel-5-x86_64.url or
/tftpboot/oscar/rhel-6-x86_64.url ?

And also, I suspect your yum cache data is not matching with the server's repo
data.
Can you clean up your yum and then try it again?
yum clean all.

Hi DongInn,
Thank you for your ideas.
I did the
yum clean all
however the
yum install oscar-base
did not succeed (same messages) so I cannot even install Oscar base in order
to further execute
oscar-config ..
I could download the oscar rpm directly but I would probably need yum working
Hi DongInn,
The messages I found on the web
http://blog.debroglie.net/2011/08/19/errno-3-error-performing-checksum/
https://github.com/overviewer/Minecraft-Overviewer/issues/630
seems to point to an issue of CentOS 5 which does not support sha256 hashes
and the repo needs to be created with
Hi Costel,
Can you try to use
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/repos/unstable/rhel-6-x86_64/ instead?
Olivier has been working hard to make the above link available for the good
support of RPM based system.

Hi DongInn,
Thank you for your quick answer.
I followed your messages exchange about and rhel-6-x86_64 and I believe you are
doing a great job.
I was just wondering:
Is this version fully compatible with CentOS 5.9 x86_64?
Is this version stable and ready for production environment?
If it is possible, I would like to recommend to move on CentOS 6 or RHEL 6.
Is this version fully compatible with CentOS 5.9 x86_64?
I think that the repository has not been tested with CentOS 5. I may be wrong.
Olivier, would it work with CentOS 5 too?
Is this version stable and ready for
