Hi Aaron, The easiest way is to just get the ossec binaries (from /var/ossec/bin) and move them to the ossec package under the bin directory.
After that, set the etc/preloaded-vars.conf file for the binary install: USER_BINARYINSTALL="y" With that, you can just run the ./install.sh on any box and it will install everything properly with the pre-compiled binaries.
