Well I was wrong, started getting these messages with DS9097U

This problem seems to only happen with the usb adapter DS9490. When I
switched to my serial adapter DS9097U these errors stopped.

I use the defaults and get the errors so I need to disable OWNET to
complete the make. Ubuntu 8.10 kernel 2.6.27-9. I don't remember having
this problem in Ubunt 7.10. If you like I can send the output from
configure and make.

The kernel module isn't fully ready (the proper patches are still only in
the mm series) and the w1 support isn't nearly tested enough for real use.

When I try to make owfs 2.7p4 or p12 with configure --enable-OWNET I get
the error below, how do I fix this (right now I configure --disable-OWNET)?
