Got my hands on the Rpi and a 2483-100 I2C chips. Thanks for the links however still a little confused on getting I2C support. I'm super keen to try this hoping Rpi will provide a reliable OWFS platform. Prior to the 1wire breakout board being available I have ordered the breakout board from RKEducation for Rpi, it even has two 8 pin SOC pads for the 2483-100's.
