I reported a problem a while ago with strange memory reads coming out on the DS2406. We have conducted more tests in my lab, and have more information. First, the problem: When one reads "memory" on a DS2406 since the 2.8pX series (all released patch levels so far), the first 1-2 characters are munged. By munged, I mean that the character is something else than it is supposed to be; there is still something in that location though. This happens through both the fuse interface and the python module. Strangely enough, if one reads pages.ALL, then the read is correct.
