Hi all,
I'm opening a custom list form in a modal dialog which works beautifully.
OpenPopUpPage('/site/Lists/Sessions/SessionRegister.aspx?ID={@ID}amp;CourseName={@Title}')
On Submit I'm then passing the user to another custom list form within the
same modal dialog using GenFireServer commit
You want to provide your code and some context of how you're trying to use
it? I'll take a look.

If you don't want to write your own cross-site list view web part then
there are some free options around.
The one below uses jQuery to create a list view snapshot. Just tweak your
options, add the script to a Content Editor Web Part and you're done.
://xyz.domain.com/ , I want to read
list data from http://abc.domain.com , is it possible through client side
scripting ?

Get the destination webapp object first, then the site.
The site you're trying to access does not exist within the current context.

Hi all,
This is a .NET question that's bugging me.
I'm trying to get a javascript alert to fire before creating a list item
via a button click.
The item is getting created but the alert is not triggering. I know this
should be easily achieved.
Code below.
// Alert user
string PostBackUrl =
all.

Hi all,
I've added Ratings and Comments to my article pages and was wondering if
anyone knows an easy way to override the default text that displays when no
comments have been made.

Anyone else built the ContosoTube demo from the white paper link above?
It contains a lot of good info around creating custom Display Templates and
filtering page content by tag (navigation term of current page).

That is the default string value for lookups. I hit a similar issue with

I can't see where you're getting the value for finalFolder and checking if
it already exists.
Perhaps you should be getting and checking this first as a separate process

Where are you restoring from and to, Chris?
Do you have another site backups you can use to see if the problem is
specific to this backup? InvalidData sounds like there might be an issue
with the backup file.
