Hi
What you are saying isn't making much sense here.
Winamp will still play your mp3s. The sound forge demo does not take
Winamp's ability away to play mp3 files. You just have to purchase
the mp3 plugin for sound forge so that you can edit them. Winamp
doesn't even fit into the equation
Thanks. I'll check, but I don't think I'm doing either of those things.

Hi to the list,
Let me try and explain this a little better!
Before I installed Sound Forge 8.0, any sound file I opened would
be played by winamp 5, automatically.13.
Since I installed the Sound Forge 8.0 demo, the files are opening in Sound
Forge instead of winamp. So, yes, Sound
It's called a RF signal and has nothing to do with what you want to do.
What you have to do is take the audio signal from your TV. On newer TV's
there are usually output female RCA plugs on the back, left and right audio
and composite video. These are all color coded, red and white for the audio
Does that computer have any USB ports on it and if so is it 2.0? The reason
I ask is that I just picked up a Liteon DVD burner which will burn CD's at
40x speed dirt cheap.

Hi John
This still isn't making a lot of sense, since Sound Forge, either
demo or full version is not a player. It is a sound editor, and sound
editors do not make changes to your file types automatically.
What you should probably do is set Winamp to play all the file types
it can. go to the
hi tim,
yes, it's got 3 USB ports, all 2.0.

I recently was told by Hp support that they do not support two sound cards.
I don't have official email about this but was told by a support supervisor
that they can not help me if I want to use a second audio card at the same
time.
Today, Creative support emailed me and also told me Creative

I solved the problem by highlighting a file in my music folder, and going
in to properties. On the general tab, there is a change button. After
entering on that, you're presented with a list of applications to choose
from. And yes, sound Forge was on the list! I chose winamp, and now my
Why the change, what do you like better? What does it do better? I would
like to learn more and the differences between the two.

Hi,
What you need to do is go into SoundForge 8, Go to the Options menu on the menu
bar, go up the Options menu to Preferences. Go into the Preferences menu and
shift tab to the general tab. Now right arrow to the File Types tab, and tab
to the button that says select none. Press that
Winamp version 5.23 is now available and one place where you can
download it from is at www.whitestick.co.uk/download.html. Here are
the changes in this version:
* Improved: [gen_jumpex] jump-to-file speed improvements
* Fixed: playlist saving with network share files

Hello,
On my XP home system, I had no difficulty installing or running the
1.70 beta for CDEX.
I also downloaded the 1.70 beta for Windows 9x to be installed on my 98
S E system.
The installation went fine; and, when I ran the program, it opened
fine. But, when I pressed the f4 key to
bobcat, where did you get the audigy 4 pro card? would be interested in
finding such a card.

I hope USB devices don't do that too. I don't want to have to use up all my

Sheesh, couldn't they have skipped build # 666 and gone on to # 667?
Good thing they didn't release it on June 6th (06/06/06 in anybody's
