You probably can't do what you want. Since the .wav file length limit is 2
hours and SF converts mp3s to .wav files during it's operations, that two hour
limit may apply. I would try mp3directcut, but I don't personally use it. You

Goldwave definitely won't do this!
There are various wav to midi programs, none of them very accurate.

Hi,
As far as I know, you cannot convert mp3 to midi with any
software. Mp3 is a recorded sound, midi is a bunch of instructions,
telling the computer what to play, much as the paper roll in a player piano!

Hello,
A few minutes ago, I went to Rockbox.org in an attempt to find
out whether Rockbox can now be used on my Iriver IFP799.
Frankly, I could not make sense out of what I found. So would
someone familiar with these things please take a look and
translate your findings into English.

hi
recording works absolutely lovely. Having rockbox installed doesn't make a
difference of course unless the user is blind in which case you gain access
to every bit of the settings and menues, can set bitrates, formats, (mp3 wav
and wavpac), can use mics or internal one.

Hello Bryan
You absolutely can not go wrong with Replay A/V from
http://www.replayav.com
The wonderful thing about it is that it can record a program, and it
captures the stream without taking over your sound card. So it
records in the background, and you can continue to surf the net or

I am noticing that the latest version of RockBox does not announce the bit

Does anyone know the best version to use in order to obtain this

Brian,
I still use it, but be careful, as it installs a proprietory driver
which may mess up other recording/playing software you may use.

Sure is. The only problem with that program is knowing which tracks
