High Anthony, The sound cards for Mac systems already have the speech synthesizer belt in to them. Screen reading software is not needed in less you are going to install some kind of a windows operating system on them. The newer Mack systems can be used either way. You can run them as PCs or you

Ah. The . In this case tells bash to search within the current directory tree only. If it were to be a hiden directory it would be something like ./.tools/configure. However, there not even any need for the . Or the / If you simply type tools/configure It should yeild results. Hth Shaun.

High Mike, I use an audio file converter that's called DBPOWERAMP. You can convert just about any file with this software. I've converted an asf file to MP3 just so that I can burn it on to an audio CD. But the only catch22 here is, you have to buy the MP2 Lame decoder lisence to do this. Happy
