Hi There,
Sorry for this one, I know this is off topic for the list. but when I've
had this problem here's what works for me. run the check disc utility on
the damaged floppy and have it fix system errors. This repairs the disc
without reformatting it.

folder gives the same result.
they have probably dicided that 128 k bps is enough
maybe more bitrate won't help much with a radio stream

Somehow, I manage to switch music folders but I don't know how I'm doing it.
Guess I need some sighted help.
In the mean time: I've noticed the noise floor when recording with the
internal microphones is quite high. I plugged in a Sony stereo mic and the
noise floor dropped quite a lot. I
Hi!
I'm running the PC as a virtual machine on my Mac and I need to get the old
memory going again (my memory I mean). Can you have Winamps volume set
separately to the system volume on a Windows machine and (if you can) how do
you set this up.
Thanks

Yeah, by defualt, it uses the output that will allow you to change the
volume independent of the computers volume. Then, you can just change the
volume of the winamp program, via the usual way. The up and down errow
keys.

Timothy

Ok that's interesting, when I change the volume from within Winamp here it
changes the volume of the Software speech too so I wonder what's going on
here.

Dane,
You have to use Winamp's DirectSound PlugIn as your output PlugIn.

It's on one of the preinstalled output plug-ins. Easy to see.

Ok, so that's obviously what I've done that's stuffed that up, I
don't like the default Winamp plug-in as it doesn't seem as easy to
configure as the other one available, can't remember the name of it
off hand.
