The quote below is taken from the rules for posting to the pc
audio list. By the way, I did not write them, I just try to
continue to maintain the intent for the purpose of the list
as specified by the list originator.

Again, that's something I cann't answer as I don't use goldwave, some
editors support it whilst others do not so if Goldwave doesn't support
FLAC then you'll have to convert your FLAC files to Wave files or
another Lossless format that Goldwave willl handle.

I cannot answer that as I'm not familiar with the .ogg format but all
I can say is that I myself wouldn't be bothering with that sort of
thing, you would gain absolutely nothing. FLAC is useful if you're
ripping say directly from CD, converting from another Lossless format
etc.

High Tom,
I hope you don't mind me asking, but who was the list originator?
I thought that was you.

High Mike,
I agree with you 150%.
I believe what the message poster was asking was how to find the titles to

Some store bought CD's especially older CD's from the mid to late 1980's
don't rip properly.
You get the songs, but you don't get the info that goes
I understand the need to stay out of trouble with copyright laws but
learning the name of a song one is licensed to have doesn't seem illegal.

Dear folks,
This question is probably something I should know intuitively, but here it
is anyway! What are the differences between ripping, and burning, of
tracks? Could you send me some information as just how one performs the
latter process? Many thanks, Scott C. Treeman. [EMAIL
Hi Scott,
Ripping means to take CD tracks and putting them into your hard drive or MP3
player. Burning refers to the actual creation of a CD. What audio program
are you going to use to do the process? We have to know what you have on
your pc in order to steer you in the right direction.
Hi ted,
Light scribe was first introduced as a part of nero 7. Nero 6 doesn't
support it.

It may be easier for me to send you a list of songs by
them, and then you could match them up.
The ones you can't, you could send them.

I thought this program was going to be a good one for me, so I downloaded

The major problem is that I can't close the program after selecting my
