The free and accessible file manager FileDir will do what you want and a
lot more. You can download it from
www.empowermentzone.com/dirsetup.exe
If you try it the option to create a playlist is in the Misc menu.

accessible manual in Daisy format. My battery is currently dead at the
moment so I can't check but I do recall the manual was quite helpful for
