I think I had the same Stax Electrostatics as Mary. I hope it's not the same these days, but back then the big disadvantage was that over time the moving plates acquired a charge and would need replaced as they became less effective. It was expensive so I had to sell them after only about 6 months

Hi there, I believe someone once mentioned that one could use Total Recorder to record a skype session. I think that when I tried it, it only recorded the other person and not both of us. Is there a good way or program to record a Skype session? I'm taking a few lessons and want to take

Hello, I use the MX Skype recorder. It is very easy to use and can be set up to automatically record Skype conversations if you want. The trial only lets you record for 5 minutes, though. The paid versions cost $29.00 US and $40.00 US. The website is www.skyperec.com. Hope this helps. Best, Jesse

Another goldwave question

Hi. I have found something very strange in goldwave -- I had a small selection of about a second and hit f3 and it kept right on going, but then I hit control left bracket and after that f3 just played the selection -- what am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. -- Your life
