Is that the ECM-MS907? I can vouch for the quality of the audio done using it. The stereo separation is great for a one-point mic; it tends to distort a little bit at high noise levels, but other than that...it's a great mic. Oh, and yeah...I don't know if Sony has finally fixed the design, but
