Tyler, but when I converted midi files that I'd written, it was having all sorts of problems, including it only converted one track from the midi file rather than all 3. - Original Message - From: constantine (on laptop) [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc

I don't see why, unless it keeps on compressing the current bitrate. BUt that doesn't really make sense. I mean, it should stay the same quolity, but just make sure you don't downgrade the current bitrate, or move it up, otherwise you'll just get a bigger file size and the same quolity as when

I absolutely love rockbox. I have a 30 gb ipod video and, while rockbox doesn't run as long as the orriginal firmware, it speaks song names to you, and is really a good sounding system. However, newer ipods aren't supported; you'll have to look for an ipod video, nano, etc. Have a good day

Yeah, just one problem: The USB headphones can't be used in conjunction with stario mixer, what you hear, etc, so if you want to use that, you'll be out of luck. I'm using a pair of acoostic headphones with an attached mic, and they work just as good, if not better, than my USB pair made by

Get a headset which plugs directly into the soundcard. that way, you can simply use the microphone and / or what you hear at the same time, a lesson I learned a while ago. USB headsets are good for some things- but bad for others. Have a good day from Tyler C. Wood! contact details: email:

So seriously, I'm finding this a bit insulting. You expect gold wave, priced at 29 bucks, to do what sound forge does huh? Well, sound forge is about 400 plus, and honestly, only a millionare could afford it. Not to mention, if you don't like gw's noise reduction features, use audacity, as

I love wavepad, and goldwave. Wavepad, I found, was great for splitting files- imho a bit easier than gold wave. Sound forge is about my entire bank acount, so I won't even go there- but lets just say that its a bit over priced and has a lot of features I won't use anyway. Have a good day from
