H140 is the correct spelling. The H10 is a completely different iriver
player with a touchpad. Perhaps, you don't find many sites about the
H140, because iRiver has discontinued the player a year or so ago.

it's probably difficult to find h140 as it's now a discontinued player. h10
is a different beast! smile.

I was wondering if the T30 is similar to the IFP799T;
a demonstration of which was done on Main Menu a couple of months ago.

Hi Ken,
No. It is definitely not, and you want to stay far, far away from the T30
as it is not nearly as accessible as the 799/899

Well Darrell, this is not good news! I can't get the 799T locally, and I
didn't know about the 899. Maybe I'll have better luck with that. The
description of the iRiver T30 sounded good.

Hi Darrell,
I'm sure that most blind people would not like menus that wrap, preferring
menus that return to the default when you turn off the unit.
I guess the problem
, they are a
last resort. I'll fine one, I almost always do.

Don! I'm no iRiver expert but as I understand it the H10 is a current
player where the one that Jonathan is using is a discontinued model only
available directly from iRiver. The H10 comes in a 20 Gig and a 6 Gig model
and several colors. The 20 Gigabyte model at Chirping Bat is $330.00
ihp140. but I didn't find any on ebay yesterday.
