yes, i folloed your instruction and on going in to the volume control this
is what i found, speaker balance, speaker volume, mute all, [and this was
unchecked] wave balance, wave bolume [one hundred per cent] mute all, ][and
this also was unchecked] s w synths, sw synths volume one hundred per

I just installed Skype version 3.0. When attempting to call the call
testing service the program appears to launch two simultaneous calls to the
skype test. I get two test announcements as well as two repeats of me testing.
The audio is extremely jittery. Has anyone experienced this
I just had this problem. My solution was to find and install the
updated driver for my laptop's sound card. I was relieved it was
that easy because the problem was pretty disconcerting; Skype is
useless in that condition.

I've lost all my sounds in Skype. For example, when I make a call, I don't
hear the ring tone.
How can I get my sounds back??

Hi Doug
In skype, go to tools, options, and then to the sounds cattegorry in
the list. you can set all your sounds there.
