Marie, good advice on blank CD's. I have yet to find that I have a
problem with CD's I've burned in my computer, but I'm sure that time will
come. But I've had to throw away CD's that have errored in my home CD
recorder. With kassettes, there was always, or most of the time if

discovered that the CD that my friend had given me was a CDRW..that this may

Hi Tom,
First of all it's essential that the cd is closed at the end of the burning
session. This has to be done with audio CDs. Many older cd players cannot
play cd-rw.
The other thing about burning speed is more a rumer then some scientific
proof. What is more importent is you have to get
If you have a burner on your computer
can you cpy the cdrw on to a cdr--that's
burns only once, of course. Just a
suggestion. Then you can give that cdrw
back to your friend. NOt intended as an
insult, I hope.
