I doubt if that is an Audible problem. I suspect some sort of connection
problem with the external drive. I have had instances when a removable
drive showed me the files in Windows Explorer, but they wouldn't copy
because of a USB connection problem. Additionally, I don't think that

you have to have I believe an older version of audible manager installed on
your computer. this is what allowed me to be able to even convert using gold

I think the only way is burning them to CD and ripping them back in. Now if
there were a virtual burner program to use to burn to the disks as files and
then rip those, that'd be cool. I think Audible Manager requires drive D or
whatever is first. I want to do this too, got to use the new mp3

The web site says that the files can be streamed in Windows Media only.
Now, if you download them to your computer or you have real set as your
default player you can play them in realplayer. No, you can't convert them,

Only the supported devices listed on the audible website will play
audible files. This does include some cell phones, such as the HP
I-Pack, but I don't know if your phone is supported. You'd have to
check the list on the audible site.

Hi,
I use Audible manager to listen to programs from audible.com, and so far as
I'm aware, there isn't any volume control offered in the playback function
they call the desktop player. However, you can also set it up to use
Windows Media Player, which does have volume settings, for instance.
sounds like a interesting list. I would like to be on the blind audible
listeners lies too if it doesn't cost nothing.

I haven't used a plug in, except for the realplayer plug in for Winamp.
Which, by the way, won't help Winamp play Audible files. I just used
