I'm a happy file editor!
Thanks to all who have patiently answered my Gold wave questions. I'm sure

I want to reduce the amount of time Goldwave rewinds or moves forward when I
use the left and right arrow keys. I tried reading the manual and it talks
about adjusting the "sound window" left or right, but the numbers in the
"View" menu don't translate in my head to seconds.

As I said before, it has a learning curve, it takes a lot of reading, trial
and error; once you know it, as most everything, it isn't difficult. You

You don't change the wind forward or back values if you want to jump back or
forward 5 seconds, in case you are not aware of their location, press f11

Shoutcast and Icecast are free, the VPS server would depend on what you
want, there are many choices. You would get the server first, must be a VPS
or Dedicated server, so you can have root access and install either
Shoutcast or Icecast. Prices depend on whether it is Unix or Windows, speed,
size
OK Hank, thanks.
