Mine goes from 87.5Mhz up to 108Mhz and it served me very well till I got the
current setup.

I think you’ll find that it isn’t a standard battery but a bespoke part made to
fit the Victor first gen.Even if you could get some generic battery, the
moulding would have to fit the victor Reader for it to work properly.

Actually there’s some good news on the Spotify and computer front, you can
access spotify on a Mac though not through the native Spotify App, there’s a
very good piece of software that accesses multiple Subscription based music
services such as Pandora, Spotify and Google Music, the App is

I think each of the services has stuff they can or cannot stream for some
reason or another. As far as sound quality goes through airplay, they are
both comparable.

Bit rate you mean? Yep that would be about right possibly more, I don't
remember what the maximum bit rate for free Spotify users was, never had
a free spotify account myself but I think the bit rate was 64K and you
couldn't keep your library offline.

Yes, a lot of truth in that and Youtube have enabled me to track down a
whole heap of original stuff.
Another "Must Have" particuarly if you're digitising your record
collection is iTunes match.

I am not sure it could work.
You then first have to unmount the battery from the plastic shel its put into.

I can’t comment on Apple Music since I don’t use it and I’ve seen no rea need
to use it but what I can say is that I know a friend who has both and he
reckons Spotify has more tracks.
That in itself is a most interesting statement given my friend is older than I
am and likes tracks from the

Actually let the truth be told I think Spotify sounds a little better than
radio tunes but the difference isn’t startling, both are damn good.
