Hi Kevin,
I'm using CDEx 1.60 Beta 1.
I was able to download the ASPI drivers from Adaptec's site, but I
don't think they're being installed propperly. When I ran CDEx after the
drivers got installed, it worked fine until I started using the read from
WinAmpDB feature, then things went
Hi all, I decided last night, to try total recorder scheduler out, and
I can figure most of it out, but I wanted just to record something once
for an hour, and so I found the radio buttons that said absolute and
duration, and left the radio button at the once setting, but I couldn't

Marty I don't know if this will help, but on the scheduler there are several
pages. You were on the first page, where you schedule the time and name of
your recording. I don't know the window eyes command but with jaws it's
control tab; I have to control tab to get to the streaming page and
Hi, I just learned about the Blind Cool Tech site and is opening a whole new
learning experience for me. My question is that does anyone know Larry
Skutchan's e-mail so that I can ask him what recording device he is using to
record the sessions ? It sounds great and he must be using stereo.
If you go to the frequently asked questions link on the blind
cool tech website all of your questions will be answered.

If you're using Total Recorder Standard, you can't ad URL's. You have to use
Total Recorder Pro or Developer editions for that feature.

Hi Ann, so does that mean that total recorder scheduler won't work with
total recorder standard edition? That is too bad. I only found two
tab controls, the general tab, and the status tab, just wish they
wouldn't have included the scheduler on the standard version, if that
is the case.

I have about a two hour long .mp3 file of a radio show. I'd like to
break the file into two smaller files for burning into .wav and to add
track markers at the end of the songs. Can .mp3Trim or .mp3 direct cut
be used for this? If not, any suggestions of what program would be good
for this with
Yes, Ann is correct. You can schedule a recording to start and stop with
the standard edition, but you already have to be connected to the sound
source. Or you can schedule a playback, using TR as an alarm clock. With
Professional, you can tell the program to connect to a Url at the given
Hi,
You can always use the scheduler to turn the recorder off
and on during a day if you got the stream running already.

Hi,
No, you can still use the scheduler, but if you're wanting to record a web
stream, you will have to make start the stream running before Total Recorder
is scheduled to start.
Or, I suppose you could use the Windows Scheduler program to start the
stream before Total Recorder runs, but I'm
I don't have a specific e-mail address for Larry, but if you log onto the

That's right. But if you want instead of putting 180 or even 100, before you
burn, go back one folder (so you are in my computer). Press applications,
and it should tell you your file size. If you are using a audio cd, the size
should be 806 MB.

Very strange. I'm also on dial up, and it is still working just fine for me.
Could it be an operating system issue, I wonder? I'm using Windows XP Home,
but maybe it's something to do with earlier windows systems.
