There's a free version of burnaware which can be used for non-comercial use.
It's a cd/dvd burning program, and it includes the option to display disk info.
You can download the program from the page:

There are three download now links on this
i also cannot get spl to speak with jaws the list of tracks that
appear when you search for a title: just get a list that says 1
through 8 or whatever.

yes, its after i type alt r and get the list which wont read me
the titles in jaws.
I suspect the mosen-hardgen scripts areent working as well in
jaws 12.
