RE: question about Internet Broadcasting

2015-09-02 Thread Dan Kerstetter
I used winamp with that particular plugin for years; however, yesterday when I
tried getting winamp to install on my Windows 10 machine, it wouldn't do so.
Also, after having been on the winamp site, I discovered there are no plugins
there anymore. I'm guessing this is because the program is no longer being
developed.

Winamp with the encoders is a free salution that works, and if you have two
soundcards the sqr crossfader. The second card is a screenreader only card, and
the rest default to your primary device.

Perhaps I should be more specific. I'm looking for something a little less

Hi. I'm currently broadcasting on internet rightadio and I, along with the high

software which can be seen at www.stationplaylist.com

The company is very closely-linbed with designers of additional scripts for
Jaws, NVDA and other screenreaders which ensures strong accessibility and, as
with Byron's suggestion, the software can be used in conjunction with the Sam
encoders for getting broadcasts onto the internet. I'd be glad to advise you

question about selling speakers information request

2015-09-02 Thread Jim Ruby
I have some klipsch speakers I would like to sell, what would be the best
way to determan the best price. I can't find any information about them on
the kliptch site. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not trying to sell here,
just looking for some information that may help me figure what they are
worth as my google searches are turning up nothing useful. When I post them
I'd like to at least get something back as they were well taken care of.

Thanks for any suggestions. Please feel free to write off list if this is to
off topic here.

Thanks.

Re: question about Internet Broadcasting

2015-09-02 Thread Danny Miles
Hi. I'm currently broadcasting on internet rightadio and I, along with the
high majority of visually impaired presenters, use the Station Playlist
Studio software which can be seen at www.stationplaylist.com

The company is very closely-linbed with designers of additional scripts
for Jaws, NVDA and other screenreaders which ensures strong accessibility
and, as with Byron's suggestion, the software can be used in conjunction
with the Sam encoders for getting broadcasts onto the internet. I'd be
glad to advise you on anything that I can, either in relation to the
software or how to pr epare and present a show. I'm away from home today
but should be around for the rest of the week and I'd be happy to chat via
email, Skype, phone or any other option that works for you. You can email
me on toptunesda...@gmail.com or call me on 07926972762. If you'd prefer
me to call you, just let me know a suitable time and number for me to get
in touch.
All my best, Danny

I use Shoutcast 2 and broadcast directly from the server, prerecorded
programs.

What software are people using and how accessible is it?

Thanks in advance.
