Need accessible music tagger
What service or software do any of yall use for tagging mp3's and other media files? I just uninstalled Winamp because they don't have the contract with Gracenote anymore. That was the main reason I got Winamp in the first place! I've used MP3 Tag Studio for years, built by Magnus Brading. I forgot now how much the full version costs, but if you learn the interface and set it up correctly, it saves you hours of tagging. You'll want to do some experimenting on a folder of files that are not that important. I'd suggest using a temp folder that's easy to get to for this project type of work. http://www.magnusbrading.com/mp3ts/ Matthew
RE: Need accessible music tagger
Hi. I'm also looking for a tagging program. Winamp was great, because you could have an empty tag, and it would fill it with what it thought was correct. It was sometimes way off, but for the most part it worked well. From my experience, programs like Mp3 Tag require some information in the tag to work. Too bad Sound Hound doesn't have a program for the PC. It has the basic features that would automate this work. Just curious. Kevin Minor, Lexington, KY
