Hi Dane.
Could you tell me which model number this unit carries?
I've been looking around and the Contour's I find seem to bee with the newer
lightening connector not the older 30 pin option you mentioned below.

Sorry folks, a further batch of Googling has thrown up the Contour 100Di
which sounds very like the player Dane mentioned. So Dane, if you get to
this first, you obviously don't need to bother getting back to me. Unless of
course its not the 100Di after all!

Do you guys in Australia use the same DAB radio standard as they do in the
uk? If not what are the frequencies used for DAB down under?

No we don't, we use the DAB+ standard which uses AAC+ instead of MP3 however
this radio will work on both DAB and DAB+ standards, most radios do these days.

Ok Dane I understand. I'm not in the UK. I'm in the US and I'm
academically interested in digital radio. The system we use here in the US
is known as IBOC (in band on channel). It rides adjacent to our standard
am/fm signals. It's been on-line here for about a decade or so and in my
