Thanks Chris; I actually did look in the VLC preferences, but didn't really see anything that made a lot of sense to me! As for making DVDS (I possibly can settle for just making MP3s if that's what I have to do) but yes; have heard a lot about DVD Audio Extractor. What I really would eventually like to do is to actually make copies of these DVDs that maybe could be shared with people who do have vision! But I will definitely keep DVD Audio Extractor in mind! Thanks again for your response and input! Before I do anything, I need to figure a good way to get these DVDs to play on my computer! You might have to configure VLC to play dvd content.I don't have vlc on my machine, but usually, a media player has some kind of area in the preferences that determines what file types the player will grab, so look for something like dvd content or something similar.
