Hi, i have just started trying to use mp3 direct cut, to split large files. i have just one, and ended up with 85 files. i have come to the conclusion, that the length of the pausd it is using is too short. can anyone tell me how to lengthen it. brian.

actually, it is quite accessible,and you can edit MP3's without having to uncompress and re-compress them. It can also record directly in to MP3. Just look for the list of keyboard shortcuts in either the help menu or in the manual, itself. but, if you need to do any fancier editing, such as

The way I move to a spot in a large file is to: press Ctrl + P This brings up the edit box with the total time of the file and the current position indicated by elapsed time. You can edit the elapsed time data to the time you wish to jump to then press Enter when your ready to execute it. HTH,
