Hi, i have just started trying to use mp3 direct cut, to split large
files. i have just one, and ended up with 85 files. i have come to
the conclusion, that the length of the pausd it is using is too
short. can anyone tell me how to lengthen it. brian.

Direct cut: let's say I want to take a part of a file and make a new file out
of it unto itself; can this be done? In other words, I may have a whole file
and there's a section of the file I want to keep, but not the

put the file into goldwave, mark the section you want to cut out and

Use the B and N keys to select the beginning and end of the part you
want, then hit Control+E...I think. Anyhow, if I was wrong about the
actual keyboard shortcut, there is a Save Selection in the File menu,
and you can use this to save a part of a file to another file all of

I finally got the enc.dll file properly installed. I even created
several tracks out of an mp3 file that was initially a single 46
minutes in length. May I say a resounding yes! Then I tried to
split an mp3 file that says it is 82' 04.17 minutes long. When I
clicked on the Save
Okay, what does it mean when I try to play the file in MP3DC I get
another error that says:

The way I move to a spot in a large file is to:
press Ctrl + P
This brings up the edit box with the total time of the file and the
current position indicated by elapsed time.
You can edit the elapsed time data to the time you wish to jump to
then press Enter when your ready to execute it.

I do not believe it can be done with the keyboard exclusively.
